Easy Hair Mask Recipe!

Jen goodall making a hair mask

Recently my 4yr old kindly said, "Your hair looks like a scarecrow". This sent me on a search for a quick easy organic recipe. I have been using this for over 6 months now and no longer resemble a scarecrow!

YOU WILL NEED:
  • 1 EGG
  • 8 PUMPS CLARY BODY OIL
  • ONE RIPE AVOCADO
  • CASTOR OIL
  • 4 DROPS of Essential oil of your choice (Rosemary oil is a good choice as it stimulates hair growth)

Hair Mask Ingredients

DIRECTIONS:

Mash avocado and mix in egg yolk, add 8 pumps of Clary Body Oil and 3 drops castor oil. Coat hair, cover with a shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water and then proceed to shampoo and condition as usual.

Mash ripe avocado

Clary Hair Mask

3 drops castor oil

Add castor oil

8 pumps of Clary Body Oil

Add Clary Bath and Body Oil

One Egg yolk

Add one egg

BENEFITS:

When it comes to hair, avocados really “shine”. Historical evidence shows that as far back as early Egypt people used avocado to prevent hair loss and as a natural moisturizer. Today we still use it for its moisturizing properties and can be found in our Renew + Repair oil; it makes hair shiny and supple and keeps the hair and skin moisturized. One of the best ways to utilize the avocado’s many beneficial properties for hair is as a mask.

Egg yolk can be a superfood for your hair due to the unique combination of vitamins found inside. Vitamins A and E, biotin, and folate are just some of the nutrients that researchers have linked to hair growth and healthy hair.

Olive oil also contains anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health and prevent dandruff. Olive oil also contains high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, an antioxidant important for hair growth.

Castor oil can provide conditioning that improves the flexibility of the hair fiber.

If you want to improve both hair thickness and hair growth, rosemary oil is a great choice thanks to its ability to improve cellular generation.
