Clary Oil for Stretch Marks
Clary Oil for Stretch Marks is a 100% natural blend designed to deeply nourish the skin, especially during pregnancy. The base of pure Avocado oil is packed with rich Vitamin E and carefully infused with oil of Rose Hips and Orange Blossoms (Neroli) bringing a burst of Vitamin C to encourage cell renewal. A gentle touch of Lavender calms and uplifts, creating an effective solution for soothing and energizing skin while protecting against stretch marks and reducing the appearance of scars.
Why we chose our ingredients:
Avocado Oil is rapidly absorbed by the skin and is able to penetrate more deeply than most other oils, reaching past the epidermis and into the dermis. Avocado oil is a high humectant - it attracts and binds itself to moisture, prolonging it’s protective effects against dehydration. It has been proven to stimulate collagen synthesis and to decrease the number of inflammatory cells in wound healing. When used topically, over time, Avocado oil has also been proven to reduce the appearance of scars. It is one of the richest sources of beneficial monounsaturated fatty acids, is full of vitamins (C and E), integral antioxidants like lecithin, potassium, beta-carotene and lycopene, as well as flavonoids and phenolic acids -- all of which play powerful roles in halting the damaging effects of free-radicals created by sun exposure, environmental toxins, stress and injury. Lavender has been proven to settle the nervous system, easing pain and tension. Neroli Oil, pressed from the bitter orange blossom, is antibiotic and cytophylactic meaning it helps to maintain healthy cell structure and promotes new cell production. Neroli Oil is also a cicatrisant and helps to regenerate tissue while fading scars and stretch marks. It has been used traditionally to balance emotions, ease anxiety and stimulate a sense of creative calm. Rosehips have been used throughout centuries to treat wounds, reduce inflammation and heal scars. Rose hip oil contains many beneficial nutrients including vitamins A, C and E, essential fatty acids (linolenic, linoleic, and oleic acid), stearic acid and palmitic acid as well as Carotenoids, flavonoids and trans-retinoic acid (a pre-cursor to retinol), all of which have strong therapeutic properties and help to bind skin cells closely together, creating a tighter appearance.
